The Norton is up and running! Just a few more minor things here and there that I want to do before it's "done".

El Centro pool

My friends Zach and Sarah came to San Diego from Portland a few months back. Skated a really good pool in El Centro with them.

Finally got the gearbox rebuilt last night and back home in the frame today! I hopefully will have her back on the road in a few weeks, just waiting for a few small parts.

Norton Commando progress

Worked on the Norton for a while today. Polished up the timing cover and "z" plates. It's hard work, but the end result is always satisfying. Next, I'll start cleaning up the top end.

Norton Commando cafe racer

I put this 1971 Norton Commando together more than 10 years ago? Daily driver and only source of transportation for years. Many years and many bikes later, I figured it was time for me to do some well overdue repairs as well as some of the upgrades I've been meaning to do forever. Progress updates to come!

The project currently:
New alloy flanged rims with stainless spokes and a disc brake conversion. (still sorting out the brake caliper)
New tank from Clubman Racing due to the old tank splitting beyond repair. (At least the tank lasted me a good 10 years or so!)
And in progress of completely rebuilding the gearbox.

Skated a super fun ditch right around the corner from the event in Lake Elsinore.

Hell on Wheels 2010

Just got back from the Hell on Wheels event in Lake Elsinore. Met Tim and Isaac there to help represent Trophy Motorcycles.
Motorcycles, camping, beers, bands and a little skateboarding.

BSA Goldstar

Chicago 2002. Brought my friend Dave's BSA Goldstar back to life after he found it in some barn in Wisconsin I believe. It had been sitting for at least 25 years.
