The first official "Slappy Sunday"

Last night was the first official "Slappy Sunday"
Glen Wagner and Texas Dan showed up for a super fun session.

The Mummies Portland road trip, Part 3

Our last day in Portland. We got the crew together and hit up a few skateparks.



Mikey was following this kook around one park.



We skated one of the BEST made to skate pools, Donald! Makes me remember the old Nude Bowl days.
(The digital camera isn't the best for taking skate pictures......)





After Donald, we got in the car and headed south towards home. Stopped at a campsite our friend Zach clued us in on.
We set up camp, made a fire and drank some Hamms (the official beer of the trip)




There's nothing better than a camping morning





The next morning was a beautiful sight.....



Packed up camp and continued our journey south. The LONG drive home. Got back to San Diego, had the best "after road trip" shower and passed out. The End.

Slappy Sunday!!!

There's no better trick than a slappy! Come on out to the Hillcrest DMV for a super fun slappy session starting at 6 PM! After the sun goes down, we're heading over to the Live Wire for some beers and music. Mikey Ratt and I will be DJing some gteat tunes!

The Mummies Portland road trip, Part 2

Arrived in Portland and headed to our friend Zach's house...........
Had a quick session at a park before the Mummies show.



The Mummies....... best live band ever. Oh, wait.... who is that diving off the stage? That's just Mikey Ratt. (he got kicked out, but with the help of a clever disquise he got right back in the show)



The next day Mikey and I went record shopping. (I bought a "few" records)



Zach showed us a DIY spot that looked fun.

Mummies Portland road trip, Part 1

Hit the road and headed North. Drove until 2 or 3 AM and decided to stop and sleep at a rest stop for a few hours.......

As soon as the sun was up, it was back on the road.

First stop, the OLD skatepark in Eugene, OR...........




Skated for an hour or so...... then back on the road to Portland to meet up with our friend Zach before the show............... to be continued

I'm back from one of the greatest road trips ever! The Mummies!!!!! played at Dante's in Portland. More posts of the adventures later.................

Mikey Ratt and I (the worlds biggest Mummies fans) are off to Portland! Road trip! Renting a car and heading north. Come on up!
